Cranberry House is a spacious four bedroom house set out over three floors. It is a very cosy house, a real home from home, close to the centre of Keswick - yet tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the town itself. The open plan lounge (now on the first floor) is a very light room which is simply decorated. It has a coal effect fire, very comfortable sofas, an easy chair, smart TV and CD player. The kitchen is very well equipped and has plenty of cupboard space, fully integrated fridge, freezer, dishwasher, stainless steel electric oven and induction hob, microwave, washer/dryer, dining table and six chairs. Also on this floor is a modern family bathroom.  The whole of the ground floor is tiled with underfloor heating.  There are two bedrooms, one with a continental super-king bed (which can be made up as two single beds within the frame) and a second bedroom with a king size bed. Both bedrooms have wall mounted t.v.s and quality furniture. The shower room is fully tiled and has shower, w.c. and wash hand basin. There is also a small utility area with plenty space for storage for coats, boots etc. On the second floor you will a large twin bedroom with sloping ceilings and a single bedroom with velux window, again both have very comfortable beds, oak furniture and t.v.s.  The shower room has shower, w.c. and wash hand basin. One pack of towels (bath sheet, bath towel & hand towel) are provided per bedroom. The house is has traditional Lakeland slide & sash windows which are double glazed and has gas central heating throughout. Outside there a seating area with garden furniture and allocated parking for two cars There is also a small yard to the rear. The location of this lovely house makes it an ideal base to get into the town centre, to the towns beautiful parks, to the lake and many of the tourist attractions that Keswick has to offer.  For reduced occupancy rates (Nov - Feb) please call the office or send us an email.

Thank you for a wonderful stay- the house was perfect for us- very spacious and well equipped. It is very well situated in the middle of Keswick and we made the most of having and park and cafes on the doorstep.
Anna from Ware 5th January 2019
Enjoyed a fantastic family Christmas break in this wonderful property. Access to Keswick is so easy we didn’t use the car the whole week. The property is furnished to a high standard and is perfect for 6 adults. Access to Booths via the back gate is an added bonus.
P. Hankin from Chorley 1st January 1970
Stayed in all of the “Berrys” now along with Bridge Cottage, another property on Bridge House complex. This time we stayed in Cranberry House, once again a lovely stay was had by all. Lovely property with all mod cons, beautiful decor and private parking which ticks yet another box ? Looking forward to our next visit. Thank you to Keswick Cottages who are always so helpful and always ready to help with anything at all. *****
Beverley from Tyne and Wear 15th December 2018
Everything about the week was great. The beauty of the lakes and the advantages of Keswick as a base go without saying so I'll move on. Cranberry Cottage was perfect. Directions, access to the key, Booths as the corner shop, were all good. Keswick is awful for parking so to have two reserved spaces at the front of the property was great. Cranberry House itself is clean, spacious, nicely decorated, well furnished and carpeted. The aspects that let some properties down - useability of kitchen and bathrooms, supply of hot water - were all 10/10. If I really tried I could possibly pick some holes but there would be no point, we had a great week and it's top of my list for next time.
David Acaster from Kettering 30th September 2018
Lovely house right in the centre of town but set back from the high street. 2 parking spaces. So convenient but quiet (apart from the Booth's lorries - but you get the benefit of this super supermarket being right round the corner). Spacious rooms - since the flood damage now with 2 beds and shower room on ground floor plus utility area with plenty of space for coats and boots; living room, kitchen and bathroom on middle floor; and 2 beds and shower room on top floor. Really well equipped with a high quality finish. However the ground floor mattresses, particularly in the back bedroom is far too soft and hollowed in the middle which is very uncomfortable. Lovely views of the fells, especially in 2018 as the trees opposite had been chopped back. We love coming here.
Harriet Macdonald from Milton Keynes 16th June 2018
A luxery House made ideal and benefitted a lot in the event of the flood refurb! We had a lovely stay and the bright living room/kitchen kept us smiling. No complaints here. Thank you all x
Godridge/South from Newcastle-Upon-Tyne 5th August 2017
Located near the centre of Keswick in a sheltered location.Modern well equipped kitchen with superior bathrooms More than adequate for families with easy access to the northern lakes. My family love it so we have already booked it again.
Hargreaves Family from Thornton Cleveleys 22nd July 2017
We come to Keswick every year and have never booked with Keswick Cottages before but will certainly do so in future. Our weeks stay in Cranberry House was exceptional. The quality of the accommodation and location of the property is excellent. Turn left through the back gate and it leads to the car park of Booths supermarket. We had a really enjoyable stay, thankyou.
Paul and Elizabeth from Billingham 26th November 2016
Delightful, comfortable surroundings, just right for 70th birthday celebrations! Rained heavily everyday, but who cares when we were so comfortable here.
Johnson Family & Friends from Leeds 14th November 2015
First time at Cranberry & we all loved it. Beautiful, clean and modern cottage in the perfect location for the centre. We look forward to visiting again next year - Thank you!
Hargreaves Family from Lancashire 25th July 2015
Cranberry House was the perfect place for a group of six Americans wishing to hike your beautiful fells. The location, near the grocery store, bus stop, and pubs was ideal, and being set off from the street, it was quiet too. The house itself is incredibly clean and cheerful, no dark corners anywhere; the kitchen was fully equipped for any cooking we wanted to do, and there was plenty of space for us all to eat together. The beds too were very comfortable. We hope to again visit this beautiful region and stay in one of the Keswick Cottages. Thank you for your attention to detail. Donna and Don Cave, Arkansas, USA

Hi, we have been renting cottages in Keswick for many years, usually very pleased with them, but never so happy as when we looked around Cranberry. The furnishings are lovely, the cottage is really comfortable, cosy and warm, the beds and pillows are so wonderful that it was really hard to drag ourselves out of them on a morning. The kitchen is fully functional, with everything you could need. Utility for drying wet walking clothes, boots etc, plus washer /drier was fab for us very wet walkers. There is every thing here you could ask for, housekeeping made the cottage immaculate for our arrival, thank you. Thank you so much, too, for a wonderful Pre Christmas break, especially having the garland on the front door and a wonderful Xmas tree in the lounge
Patsy from Stockton on Tees 16th December 2013
This is our second stay at this cottage and it was equally as good as the first. The weather has been fantastic this week and we made sure to bring our tennis rackets this time to make use of the courts. Amazing cottage for the whole family and again some fabulous walks from the doorstep. Brilliant stay again. Thank you! We will definitely be back again.
Carver Family from Newcastle 16th February 2013
Having previously stayed in Bridge Cottage and Apartment 1 this is equally as nice. Great facilities and in a great location. Would definitely stay here again.
Mrs Fawcett from Leeds 18th January 2013
Quite the most comfortable cottage we have visited. All facilities are superb. An ideal location for walking holidays. Celebration of Daves 65th Birthday on 11-11-11 was enjoyed by all.
Mr&Mrs Harmer/Mr&Mrs Hudson from Lancs 12th November 2011
A booking for Daves 65th. Stopped often over the years but this one ticks all the boxes!! Weather unbelievable- why would anyone want to be anywhere else? Perfect!!
Pat & Dave Macrae from Lancs 11th September 2011
A lovely Cottage with superb facilities. We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will certainly come here again. Thank you
