We come to the Lake District twice a year and this was our first time at The Ridgeway. Excellent value for money, quiet location, 5 minute walk into town, spotlessly clean, very comfortable and simple, easy to follow instructions for everything. Will definitely be back and we as a family of 4 highly recommend it!
This bungalow is a great choice, it seems to be recently decorated so is smart and clean with a modern bathroom and kitchen, and large yet cosy living area and good size bedrooms. It has all the appliances you’d need, good heating and hot water, separate utility room/boot room and is within a couple of minutes walk to the village shop. Off road parking is a bonus. Communication with the owner to extend our stay was easy and well managed.
We recently returned from a wonderful stay in this beautiful appealing to the eye, bungalow which was very impressive immaculately done throughout , with modern contemporary fixtures and fittings throughout ,kitchen bathroom and lounge and double bedroom were just delightful exceptionally clean comfortable and spacious , well equipped with everything you need, the bed was very comfortable with high quality bedding and pillows. with that extra touch to make you feel on a special holiday, the owners also added the extra welcome touch with Prossecco and a box of biscuits on arrival. much appreciated Thankyou. Causey view is also in a lovely location close to some beautiful scenery , the views from the bungalow especially nice ,and great walks. The garden with seating is especially nice and used a lot to relax after long walks, and exploring the Lakes,The 2 pubs are also appealing within walking distance serving delicious food and large beer gardens if fancy eating outside especially the Coledale Inn . Also a local shop around the corner. serving fresh croissant s and pastries was great We would highly recommend Causey view it truly is the loveliest place we’ve ever stayed in the Lake District and have been coming for years could not ask for more ....
