Apartment 1 is part of the Bridge House Complex which offers private parking for two cars, large gardens and a tennis court. Close to the town centre. This 3 bedroom apartment has been designed to be easily accessible for those who may prefer to have ground floor accommodation. Because all the accommodation is on one level it offers young families or families with disabled or elderly members a perfect place to stay and with direct access onto the patio and garden areas. As you enter from the courtyard you arrive in the open plan kitchen/lounge which is well designed and equipped. The kitchen has a electric oven and ceramic hob, integrated dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave, etc. There is also a utility room which has a washing machine, dryer and coat hooks.  In the lounge area there is the original fireplace, two leather sofas and an easy chair oak table with six leather chairs, flat screen TV & CD player. To the front there are views up towards Skiddaw. The hallway leads to three bedrooms, The double room has a very comforatble double bed, bed side cabinets & drawers, fitted wardrobe & TV. En-suite shower room (with WC.). One twin bedroom and one superking size bedroom . These rooms are also furnished with lovely co-ordinating fabrics. The bathroom is fully tiled and has bath with power shower over, w.c., wash hand basin and shaver point. Very well designed and furnished, central and easy walk to shops, lake, parks etc. A pack of towels (bath sheet, bath towel and hand towel) are provided per bedroom. Reduced Occupancy is available at Bridge House Apartment 1 from November to March (excluding school holidays). We are able to offer this service by locking off un-used rooms saving on cleaning and energy costs.  Prices are reduced to reflect the number of bedrooms/bathroom used, 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom or 2 bedrooms, 2 bath/shower rooms. Standard 1 bedroom booking (double bedroom & main bathroom), 2 bedroom booking (double with en-suite & twin bedroom with bathroom). If this room configuration is not what your require, please contact the office either by phone or email with your room choices.  Please note there will be a £15 charge for any changes on arrival.

An excellent ground floor apartment, very well equipped throughout. Centrally situated, everything within walking distance. All rooms are very spacious and the showers are lovely and roomy.Underfloor heating to keep your feet toasty warm. We had a wonderful Christmas break here. Complimentary bottles of wine and mince pies and a Christmas tree ready decorated! Alhambra Cinema is a real treat with free tea or coffee. A walk to Lingholm at Portinscale is worth the exercise for their scrumptious food and we had a great time at the Theatre by the Lake. A walk up sunny Latrigg on Christmas Eve and evening carols in the pedestrianised market place. Perfect. No hesitation in recommending this apartment.

Having visited Bridge house apartment 1 before, we had no hesitation in returning back for another visit. Beautifully finished to a very high standard throughout, and perfectly situated just minutes from the centre, it offers everything you’ll need for a visit to Keswick. We’ll be back im sure.

Just home from a weekend break in Bridge house apt 1. This is our first time back in 6 years, and the refurbishment is fantastic. The apartment is lovely and so comfortable. Great being able to allow the dog to come and safe to let her out in the enclosed back garden. Can’t wait to get back down again. Highly recommend x

Just home after a wonderful week at bridge House ap 1 Absolutely beautiful. high spec and very comfortable well equipped and a suntrap in the courtyard. Very close to town and shop's and restaurants x Also disabled friendly. We had a lovely stay and hopefully get back soon

A great apartment in a great location. Roomy and very well equipped and finished. The large garden is a bonus. Not specifically adapted, but suitable for our assisted wheelchair user. We will be back!

The apartment is perfectly located - only a few minutes walk to the supermarket, shops, pubs and other Keswick amenities, and only about 10 minutes down to the lake. It is in a gated complex (6 properties in all), with large garden with trampolines, which my grandson, who has autism, absolutely loved! There's parking for 2 cars, which is a huge plus. The apartment was very clean and well appointed, 3 bedrooms, and dog-friendly. Already booked again for next year!

We have stayed here before our first time since complete makeover, it was perfect. The apartment is comfy we everything you need. The garden is wonderful our grandchildren loved the trampolines. On site parking a major plus. Location for all town ammeneties are a few minutes walk.

We had a great week in this cottage. Fabulous to be able to walk in to town for food in the evening, and to allow our 12 year old children a bit of independence to walk to nearby shops on their own. For the first 3 days didn't get in the car with great walking, cycling easy from the house. A very comfortable place and the trampoline and tennis court a bonus. We will be back.

Absolutely delightful, very comfortable and spacious modern and clean, very close to the town centre and supermarkets pubs shops - would definitely go again to apartment one, the staff in Keswick cottage could not have been more helpful over all a fantastic break, also the gardens are enclosed so the dog couldn't get out and the tennis court was well kept. 5***** all the way would recommend 100%

Enjoyed another great stay . Apartment really spacious clean great standard. Fantastic ambiance felt totally relaxed. Visited Keswick many times , great central location ,lots to do and see. Bank Tavern great beer and home cooked food, as was the a Dog and Gun. We keep coming back to Keswick Cottages all properties very high standard a real home from home. Recommend book early avoid disappointment. They have thought of every thing.

Another family visit to apartment 1. Perfect as ever. Weather superb so eating and drinking outside a bonus. Went to see ‘Hay fever’ at the theatre. A hidden gem and vastly enjoyable. Have seen more dogs of every shape size and breed than any other holiday! Will miss morning coffee sitting in the sunshine outside Brysons ‘people and dog watching’!
