There is an open fire, two settees, dining table and chairs, TV, video and DVD and CD player. The kitchen is well equipped and has electric cooker with ceramic hob, dishwasher, washer/dryer, fridge/freezer, microwave etc. There is also a pine breakfast table and chairs. The spacious double bedroom has a double bed and plenty of storage and as with all other rooms, has fantastic views over Keswick. The en-suite shower room has a multi-jet shower, wash basin and w.c and is newly tiled and fitted. The second bedroom has two single beds, wardrobe, drawers and a wash hand basin. The views from this room are towards Skiddaw. There is a bath sheet, two bath towels and a hand towel per bedroom.  There is also a travel cot and a high chair available. We have recently bought this fantastic apartment as we love Keswick and the hills, and are in the process of refurbishing some of the property. It is really convenient for local amenities and the spectacular views from all windows will enable you to plan your hill walks from the comfort of your lounge or bedroom! With a real fire for winter and roof terrace for summer, we look forward to welcoming you here and hope it will offer all you need for a really enjoyable holiday in the Lakes.
The Neal family from London 1st March 2014
A very clean, comfortable, welcoming, warm house in a quiet street right in the centre of Keswick with fantastic views which remind you that you're in the heart of the Lake District. We would highly recommend this house and Keswick Cottages for their friendly efficient service.
Fiona & Chris from Worcester 15th November 2013
As regular visitors to Keswick this property has spectacular views and is set in a peaceful location. The parking space was and an added bonus. Loved the roof terrace.
Elaine from Leicester 1st June 2013
Second visit to this great house. Well equipped and comfortable with amazing views. Looking forward to our next visit. Many Thanks.
Elliott from Cheshire 4th February 2013
Great week, great house, great views!
N Rowe from Hartfordshire 28th December 2012
A warm, cosy cottage with fantastic views. Thanks.
R Owens from Northumberland 26th October 2012
Great spacious apartment, very clean. We saw the deer and heard the owl most days. We arrived to thick snow on the mountains and blue sky, but it soon changed to dull, wet and windy, but still very enjoyable. So many great walks. Would recommend Catbells on a clear day and the walk through the woods to Latrigg. Good walks at white Moss Woods along the A591 outside Grasmere. Thanks for the Christmas tree and gifts. A very enjoyable stay.
Dawn and Mike Thomas from Essex 18th December 2011
To sum up our stay, we are both more than a little sad today – we have to leave this clean, fresh apartment in its wonderful setting. Our first trip to The Lakes has been a memorable one. We’ll be back.
Linda and Jonathan Read from Northampton 26th September 2011
Just wanted to let you know that we really enjoyed staying at Skiddaw Skies. This holiday property was perfect for our family and enabled us to have a fantastic holiday. Since we stay in Keswick at least once a year (usually in August) we very much hope to stay at Skiddaw Skies again next year. I cannot imagine a better property for our annual holiday in Keswick.
Jacqui Piner from Baldock 12th August 2011
We had a fantastic holiday here. Great location, lovely view and very peaceful. Highly recommended.
Suman and Tahmina Das from London 20th June 2011
We just wanted to say how much we appreciated the accommodation, finding it extremely well equipped, comfortable and welcoming, and of course with spectacular views. We also appreciated the efficient way in which you have managed our booking and would recommend the accommodation and Keswick Cottages to others. Many thanks.
Marilyn Goss from Kent 3rd September 2010
We were very pleased with the accommodation at Skiddaw Skies, it was very clean, very comfortable and had character. We usually stay at the lodges at Bassenthwaite Lake but decided to try closer to town for our daughters to be more independent. With the convenience & views – it's now one of our favourite places. The staff at Keswick Cottages were very friendly & helpful, and we will certainly use your company again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend you. Unfortunately it's a long trip for us otherwise we would come up more often!
Tracey and Peter Brightly from Middlesex 20th August 2010
